New partner to strengthen HD Corporate Finance and International Transactions practices
Honorato | Delaveau recently welcomed attorney Matías Langevin Correa as the new partner who is to lead their Corporate Finance and International Transaction practices. He brings years of experience in operations financing, M&A, and capital markets.
Matías received his LL.B. from Universidad de Los Andes—where he later taught Economic Law (2011-2017)—, and an LL.M. from Duke University. He is a member of the International Bar Association, and Officer of its Banking Law Committee as of 2016. Previous to joining Honorato | Delaveau Matías worked at Morales & Besa law firm since 2004. He was made partner in 2012 after working for two years as international associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York.
Commenting, Sebastián Delpiano, managing partner at Honorato | Delaveau, said: “Matías’ appointment is related to the natural expansion achieved by our office since its establishment almost five years ago. Current legal industry trends are specialization, and increased internationalization. Matías will add his vast experience in both.”
