Carolina Veas Senior Associate
Carolina has extensive experience in corporate and antitrust matters, with focus on the area of digital markets. She has also developed extensive knowledge in the area of crypto assets.
Previously, she worked as a senior associate at Carey & Cía. in the antitrust area (2015-2021).
Also, she worked in the litigation and antitrust area at Correa & Gubbins (2011-2014) and, before that as an associate at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (2009-2011).
Carolina has been a speaker in different seminars, among them:

- "Legal challenges of information technologies", presentation: "Law and code; challenges of algorithms and blockchain to law and competition", Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2019).

Currently, she is a professor of the module of the Digital Markets Mention, of the Diploma of Antitrust of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is a permanent collaborator of the Department of Law, Science and Technology of the same university.
She is a member of the legal working group of the LACChain Chile community, an IDB-LAB initiative for the development and implementation of DLT/Blockchain technology infrastructures in Latin America and the Caribbean.
